Basically, I believe our team should probably try to begin the new onboarding project shortly, because a lot of recent hires kind of get confused during their first week. It's really important that we don't waste their time, and it's additionally important that managers get a clear strategy they can use right away.

How it works

Five tones, one adjustable dial

tone × strength → rewrite
StandardVaries word choice and sentence openers, keeps the register
FormalExpands contractions, prefers formal vocabulary
SimpleShorter words, splits long sentences at conjunctions
Concise / ConfidentStrips filler phrases and hedging words
Worked example

The same sentence in five tones

Starting from a hedgy first draft — “I think we should probably try to fix this soon” — each tone reshapes it differently: Formal produces “I believe we should attempt to resolve this soon,” Simple keeps the words short and direct, Concise drops “I think” and “probably” entirely, and Confident removes the hedge to read as a plain statement of intent. Standard leaves the meaning and register alone but swaps in a synonym or two so repeated drafts don't read identically.

FAQ

Common questions

No. Every rewrite runs locally in your browser using a built-in synonym bank and a set of sentence-shaping rules — nothing you type is uploaded, logged, or sent to any third-party API. That also means it works offline once the page has loaded.
